Setting Up a New Reader

First, see the video below for step-by-step instructions on unboxing and connecting all of the hardware for your reader.

Accessing the Reader's Web UI

Once the reader is setup, its user-friendly web interface can be accessed. Most reader settings can be configured from this interface, and additional software licenses like RAINStream can be installed and accessed here as well.

To access the web interface, you will need to point your web browser at the reader's hostname, which is printed on a label on the reader. The hostname should look similar to the image below:

If you are connected directly to your reader via ethernet cable, you may need to add ".local" to the end of your hostname.

Once the web interface loads, you will need to login with the appropriate credentials:

Username: web

Password: radio

Now you have access to the reader's web interface and can configure the reader for your application.
